Here are some foods that should not be eaten by birds:

  • Chocolates are poisonous to birds when ingested. It will affect the digestive system of the birds then afterward attacks the central system that will eventually lead to death.
  • Seeds of apples, peaches, apricots and pears should not be offered to birds since this contains some amount of harmful chemicals.
  • Mushrooms should be discouraged from being given to your pets, since it may cause upset stomach or liver damage.
  • Onion and garlic may cause anemia when taken in ample amount.
  • When giving them beans, see to it that you are offering them well-cooked beans because raw or uncooked beans may contain hemaglutin, which is toxic to birds.
  • Tomatoes are good, but make it sure to get rid o the leaves. Tomato leaves are toxic too to your birds.

  • Excessive consumption of lettuce may harm your hamster’s liver.
  • If your hamster is beginning to have a vegetable-fruit diet, introduce this slowly and to prevent diarrhea.
  • Don’t feed your hamster with frozen foods.
  • Foods that are not good for your hamsters are buttercups, chocolates, garlic, onion, gum, raw kidney beans and sweets.

Founded in 1924 by Eli Belovitch and his son in law Harry Grosberg in Staffordshire,Belstaff produced all-weather jackets for motorcyclists, and was the first company to ever use waxed cotton. The company later created weather-protective jackets for other uses, goggles (primarily for the growing aviation market), gloves and several other garments intended to keep the wearer warm, dry and safe.

Belstaff became a subsidiary of James Halstead in 1948–a company also famous in later years for the success of the Australian brand Driza-Bone.

In the 1980s,Belstaff diversified into the golf wear market.

The company was hit hard by the textile crisis of the 1990s precipitating the closure of the Longton Stoke-on-Trent factory after previously closing its Silverdale site. Moving to Wellingborough, production was vastly reduced. The range was also manufactured in Australia by a sister company Driza-Bone. The company grew again and in 1994 introduced Belfresh, a waterproof/breathable fabric.

Today, Belstaff markets products to the Far East, Russia, the United States, Australia, South America and Europe.
